Repair Estimate Fee

If an estimate is required by the customer for non-warranty repairs or services, there is a repair estimate fee of $30.00. Customer must agree to pay this amount by credit card before shipping the defective product to Ocean Management Systems Inc. (or at the time that OMS® notifies the customer that the product is not covered by warranty). OMS® will examine the returned items and send the customer a quote for the repairs, the amount of which will be based off the then-prevailing time and material rates as determined by OMS®. OMS® will not work on the repairs until it receives signed authorization from the customer. If the customer chooses not to repair the item, he will be responsible for the cost of the repair estimation and for all shipping and insurance charges. OMS®, at its sole discretion, may decide not to repair a non-warranty part. If the customer chooses to repair the item, the $30.00 repair estimate fee will be credited against the total invoice. The customer will remain responsible for all shipping (to and from OMS) charges as well as insurance. All non warranty repairs costs, shipping, must be secured by a credit card and charges are based on labor and parts.
